Curtis is a graduate from the University of Saskatchewan having received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2014, and Masters of Physical Therapy in 2016. During his collegiate career Curtis was a member of the University of Saskatchewan Men’s Hockey team and was named part of the Huskie Athletics All-Academic and All-Canadian Academic First Teams. Prior to his time at the U of S, Curtis played in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for 3 seasons, finishing his junior career in Everett Washington.
Curtis’s passions include sport physiotherapy, concussion management, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning training. Curtis has taken post-graduation courses in concussion management and become a Sport First Responder. He also plans to continue his postgraduate education and obtain his sport physiotherapy diploma and orthopaedic manual and manipulative therapy levels.
Curtis’s other interests include hockey, yoga, slo-pitch, golf, fishing, and camping.
