Dr. Williams completed her medical undergraduate and postgraduate training in Family Medicine in Saskatoon, graduating in 2003. Since that time, she has practiced Family Medicine in a few different settings and currently has a general family practice at Lifebridge Health Center. Her general practice has a strong emphasis on women and children’s health including maternity care. She also works part time for both WCB and SGI assessing patients with complex injuries.
She has a passion for endurance sports and has developed an interest in caring for patients with musculoskeletal complaints through her personal experiences and those of her patients and loved ones. Over the past 2-3 years, Dr. Williams has focused her educational efforts on MSK medicine by attendance at both local and national conferences as well as dedicated personal studying. In September 2017, she took 5 weeks off of clinical practice to mentor with local orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists and sport physicians. If time allows, she hopes to write the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine diploma exam in the near future.
