Lindsay completed both her Kinesiology (2009) and Master of Physical Therapy (2011) degrees at the University of Saskatchewan, and was also a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. After working for two years she travelled to New Zealand for one year where she worked as a physical therapist, enjoying the Kiwi lifestyle and exposure to various sports including rugby, netball and multisport racing. On May 31, 2016, Lindsay received her Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy.
Lindsay was passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities reach their goals, whether it be for the purpose of sport performance, health and fitness, work or recreation. Her approach included manual therapy, corrective exercise and education to help put people in control of their own progress. She also enjoyed working outside of the clinic to help with on-field coverage for various community and sport events.
Growing up in a small community, Lindsay participated in a variety of sports, with particular interest in track and field and fastball. She was a member of the U of S Huskies Track and Field Team from 2005-2008, competing primarily in shot put, and was a part of various provincial track and field teams. Lindsay played fastball in Ladies Division I with the Saskatoon Riot throughout the summer. During other downtime, Lindsay loved times at the lake with friends and family playing golf or doing watersports, and during the winter dabbled in cross country skiing. We will miss her bright and energetic spirit, her laughter and her kind and sincere heart.
