In 2007 Karlyn Wells graduated from the 2200hr diploma program at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy. Coupled with her massage education, in May 2005 Karlyn graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science from the college of kinesiology in the area of exercise and sport.
Aside from massage therapy Karlyn has also competed in the sport of track and field for 17 years at the local, national and international levels. After her departure from competing she turned her sights on coaching which she did for 3 years.
In 2006 Karlyn added bobsleigh to her repertoire and competed for team Canada at the FIBT World Junior Bobsleigh Championships and Canadian National Championships, where she placed 3rd at each.
