Katelyn graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015 and completed her undergraduate degree from Clarkson University in New York State in 2012. Here she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology (minor psychology) while playing for the Division I Women’s Hockey team and was awarded the Ed Sayer Memorial Scholarship, the Sarah Devens Memorial Scholarship, the National Scholar Athlete Award, and All-Academic honours each year. Katelyn spent time as a member of the U18 and U22 Team Canada Women’s Hockey teams and has continued to be involved in the hockey community coaching at various SHA SaskFirst development camps.
Clinically, Katelyn’s interests lie in sports physiotherapy, paediatrics, low back pain management, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and exercise programming. She has taken post-graduate education in concussion management, orthopaedic manual and manipulative therapy levels, Saskatchewan Spine Pathway Treatment and Management course, and Biomedical Dry Needling. In the future, she plans to obtain her sport physiotherapy diploma and certified exercise physiologist certification (CEP).
Her background and interests include hockey, fastball, mountain biking, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors with her three beautiful doggies!
