Rhonda Shishkin, Physiotherapist, Main Clinic Manager

Rhonda is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a BSPE and BScPT. She holds Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy and is a Certified Athletic Therapist. Her career has involved working in high performance sport with Huskie Athletics, Canada Basketball and Athletics Canada. She has been selected to several core medical teams including Pan Am, Commonwealth, and FISU Games. Rhonda is a self-proclaimed course junkie and has been privileged to take sport and orthopedic courses from many of the gurus in the physiotherapy profession who have shaped her personal sport physiotherapy practice.

Rhonda has been a mentor to students and professionals for many years. She is currently a Sport First Responder Instructor; an instructor/examiner/mentor for Sport Physiotherapy Canada; and a consultant/instructor for the Sport Medicine and Science Council of Saskatchewan. She has served in various capacities with many professional associations – local to national.

Rhonda’s physiotherapy practice focuses on movement analysis to improve function and performance. Whether your goal is to eliminate your knee pain, to return you to an activity you enjoy doing, or to optimize your sport performance, she will work to improve deficits in mobility, stability, strength, motor control, and function. With over two decades in sport, Rhonda has worked with numerous sports (contact, non-contact, court sports, athletics) and has experience with all sorts of injuries (acute, chronic, post surgical).

When not watching sports from the sidelines, Rhonda enjoys taking in live music, theater, and dance. She and her husband Ryan find time to travel, relax at the lake, eat out and catch a show together as much as they can.
